It's the first week back of term, and my first week back of normal working hours. Last week our church had a huge outreach event, where all week long I was at work setting up for this (I even had a work experience student with me!). I work 2 days a week- usually one day is dedicated to planning our Sunday kids programs during the church service, and one day to planning our Friday Kids Club (with other things interspersed through these two days- e.g. meeting with children, running small discipleship groups, staff meetings, leaders meetings, etc). By some miracle, this week I have run out of things to do. I find myself sitting at my desk wondering what I could possibly do with the next 2 hours before I am meeting with a child. My first thought is 'I should find something to do, maybe a boring admin job to fill my time'. However this is not what God wanted!
